Jaime Alguersuari, the World Series Formula V8 3.5 founder, has been awarded by the Spanish Automobile Federation (RFEdA) for his role in promoting the Spanish Motorsport internationally. He received the Gold Insignia from Jean Todt, president of the FIA, who joined the stage with Manuel Aviñó, the RFEdA president.
The event took place recently during the Champions Gala held in the Olympic Spanish Committee in Madrid. Previously in the same week, Alguersuari received the Gold Medal from the President of the Spanish Motorcycle Federation, Joan Viladoms, for a life of success in the sport of the motorcycle and the creation of many events.
After 40 years of dedication since the Foundation of Solo Moto en 1977, the innovation and creation of singular events such as the Trial Indoor Solo Moto de Barcelona, the Criterium Solo Moto and Criterium Solo Auto, the Open Ducados, the Superprestigio Solo Moto, the Indoor Enduro the Open Fortuna by Nissan, the Open Telefónica by Nissan, the World Series by Nissan, the World Series by Renault, the Superprestigio Dirt Track and the World Series Formula V8 3.5, eased the arousing of many champions in motorsports.
Jaime Alguersuari (Barcelona 1950) sold his company to Dentsu Aegis Network on February 2016, and in the current time he is the Executive President, leading all the activity in RPM-MKTG.
